B

BPA-Free: A product that does not contain Bisphenol A (BPA), a chemical compound that can leach into liquids and cause health concerns. All YogaPeak water bottles are 100% BPA-free and FDA approved.
Biodegradable: A material that can be broken down naturally by microorganisms into water, carbon dioxide, and biomass. Natural rubber yoga mats are 100% biodegradable.

Double-Wall Insulation: A construction method using two layers of material with a vacuum space between them to prevent heat transfer. Our stainless steel water bottles use double-wall vacuum insulation to keep drinks cold for 24 hours or hot for 12 hours.

Eco-Friendly: Products or practices that do not harm the environment. Eco-friendly yoga mats are made from sustainable materials like natural rubber, TPE, or cork, and are free from PVC, latex, and harmful chemicals.

FDA Approved: Products that meet the safety standards set by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for food contact materials. All YogaPeak water bottles are FDA approved for safe drinking water contact.

Grip: The traction or friction between a yoga mat surface and the user's hands/feet. Superior grip prevents slipping during yoga poses, especially in hot yoga or sweaty conditions. PU and natural rubber mats offer the best grip.

LFGB Certified: German food safety certification (Lebensmittel- und Futtermittelgesetzbuch) that ensures products are safe for food contact. LFGB is stricter than FDA and is required for selling food-contact products in Germany and the EU.
Laser Engraving: A permanent logo printing method that uses a laser to etch designs into the surface of a product. Laser engraving is the most professional and durable option for stainless steel water bottles and natural rubber yoga mats.

MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity): The smallest number of units a manufacturer will produce for a single order. YogaPeak's MOQ for yoga mats, yoga clothing, and water bottles starts at 10 pieces per design. MOQ 100+ includes free custom logo printing.
Moisture-Wicking: A fabric property that pulls sweat away from the skin to the outer surface where it can evaporate quickly. Moisture-wicking fabrics keep users dry and comfortable during intense yoga sessions.

Natural Rubber: A sustainable material harvested from rubber trees (Hevea brasiliensis). Natural rubber yoga mats offer superior grip, durability (5-10 years), and are 100% biodegradable. Best for hot yoga and premium brands.
NBR (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber): A synthetic foam material used for extra-thick yoga and fitness mats (10-15mm). NBR mats are budget-friendly and provide excellent joint protection but have poor grip for yoga poses.

OEKO-TEX Standard 100: An international certification that tests textiles for harmful substances. OEKO-TEX certified fabrics are guaranteed free from chemicals that could harm human health. All YogaPeak yoga clothing fabrics are OEKO-TEX certified.
OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer): A manufacturing service where a factory produces products based on the client's design specifications. OEM allows brands to create custom yoga products with their own designs, colors, and branding.
ODM (Original Design Manufacturer): A manufacturing service where the factory provides both the product design and production. ODM allows brands to choose from existing designs and add their custom branding, reducing development time and cost.

Private Label: A product manufactured by one company but sold under another company's brand name. Private label yoga products allow brands to sell high-quality products without investing in their own manufacturing facilities.
PU (Polyurethane): A premium material used as a surface layer on natural rubber yoga mats. PU provides superior grip that actually improves with moisture, making it the best choice for hot yoga and serious practitioners.

REACH Certified: European Union regulation (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals) that ensures products do not contain harmful chemicals. REACH certification is required for selling consumer products in the EU.
Recyclable: A material that can be processed and reused to create new products. TPE yoga mats are 100% recyclable, making them an eco-friendly alternative to PVC mats.

SGS Certified: Certification from SGS, the world's leading inspection, verification, testing, and certification company. SGS certification ensures products meet international safety and quality standards.
Screen Printing: A printing method that uses a mesh screen to transfer ink onto a surface. Screen printing is commonly used for custom logos on yoga mats, yoga clothing, and water bottles.
4-Way Stretch: A fabric property that allows the material to stretch in four directions (up, down, left, right). 4-way stretch fabrics provide maximum freedom of movement for yoga poses and exercises.

TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomer): A lightweight, recyclable material used for eco-friendly yoga mats. TPE mats are PVC-free, latex-free, and budget-friendly. Best for travel mats and everyday practice. Thickness: 6-8mm, weight: 0.8-1.2 kg.
Tritan: A BPA-free, crystal-clear plastic material made by Eastman Chemical Company. Tritan is shatter-resistant, lightweight, and dishwasher safe, making it ideal for sports water bottles.
